Italy - Florence Monumental
Our monumental tour of Florence takes in the remnants of the city's medieval towers and walls, the Holy Trinity Bridge and the Jewish Cemetery. As well as the Palazzos of Strozzi, Pitti and Frescobaldi, you'll also visit the medieval craft quarter and the world's first ever pharmacy. The itinerary includes the church of Santa Maria del Carmine, home to some awe-inspiring Renaissance frescoes. There's also time to find out about rustic Tuscan cuisine, often described as 'cucina povera', or kitchen of the poor.
