Germany - Würzburg
Our tour of the Bavarian city of Würzburg takes in distinctive landmarks such as the Crane Bastion, the Lower Market square and the City Hall, which dates back to the 12th century. We admire the vast proportions of the Wurzburg Residence, linger on the Old Main Bridge - perhaps sampling a glass of local wine - and marvel at the Marienberg Fortress across the river - home to the region's prince-bishops for nearly five centuries.
