Germany - Rüdesheim
Our tour of Rüdesheim takes in the 9th century Boosenburg, the town’s oldest surviving castle; as well as the Market Square, a prime spot to linger and sample a glass of what the region does best – wine! Riesling, to be more precise. Meander past picturesque half-timbered buildings on the famous Drosselgasse, or Throttle Alley, hop onto the cable car for breathtaking views of the surrounding area and visit a museum dedicated to medieval torture – definitely not for the faint-hearted!
