Germany - Magdeburg
Magdeburg boasts not just one but TWO cathedrals. One of them is the first Gothic building to be erected on German soil, inspired by Notre-Dame in Paris! The city is also home to a church were the city first embraced Protestantism after a fiery sermon by the man himself, Martin Luther. Our tour also takes you to the Horse Gate in one of Germany’s most scenic parks, to the iconic Star Bridge over the River Elbe and the historic Old Market Square with its beautiful 13th century Town Hall.
